We feel Primer is extremely important in a makeup routine. It helps out a ton and it gives your makeup something to cling to, so it naturally helps your makeup last longer and look flawless!
Most primers reduce shine and oil, mattify, fill in pores and fine lines, smooth skin, and do a lot more that is important for a perfect makeup base.
A MUST-HAVE FOR OILY SKIN!
Primer is absolutely a must-have if you happen to have oily skin. Oily skin can sometimes (not always) come with enlarged or clogged pores, acne, blackheads, etc. Having oily skin and not using a primer can most likely cause makeup to not last as long and it will typically “slide off” because of the excess oil on your face.
Primer will also protect your pores from being suffocated by the makeup you put on, which will benefit in the long run when you have a breakout-free face!
