The Consultant would be responsible for providing and maintaining exceptional customer service, generating sales, merchandising product and supporting the store management and organizational teams. The Consultant will perform operational duties to run the retail store that include, but are not limited to, opening/closing, stocking, inventory, ensuring store security, overseeing safety and assisting with escalated customer issues.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but aren't limited to):

Customer Service Experience:

  • Provide an exceptional and consistent customer experience

  • Maintain awareness of all store promotions

  • Drive to meet and exceed daily sales goals

  • Assist in training and developing your peers

  • Capture and manage customer emails to grow future business

  • Answer all customer inquiries and share product information

  • Maintaining/managing the bi-monthly newsletter

  • Make our customers feel so special that when they leave our store they feel positive, informed and like a million bucks

 

Visual Standards and Operational Excellence:

  • Assist with completion of opening and closing checklists

  • Maintain company brand standards by ensuring a neat clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap and backroom

  • Execute all visual directives and schematics to ensure the floor is set properly and timely

  • Conscience of all loss prevention procedures and inventory activities

  • Oversee and assist in managing the company's social media activities

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school education or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1-3 years retail experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of beauty and cosmetics preferred

  • A certification in beauty/make-up artistry (MUA, cosmetology, esthetician, eyelash extension technician, etc.) and/or previous retail make up experience is desirable but we also welcome applicants with amateur level experience

  • Strong knowledge and recent use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong knowledge of social media outlets including Instagram, Facebook, You Tube and Twitter

  • Love of people and selling with an ability and energy to meet and exceed sales goals

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights and weekends as needed

  • Must be a beauty enthusiast and a product junky
